For this project QE constructed a new, two-mile roadway. The purpose of the roadway was to build a critical piece of missing infrastructure that would lead to the Big Corkscrew Park, previously constructed by Collier County.
The project scope included 2,000 LF of drainage piping from 15” to 48”, 3,000 LF of 24” watermain, 3,000 LF of 24” forcemain, 2,500 LF of 8” acid wash piping, 2,500 LF of 10” and 12” raw watermain, 3,000 LF of electrical duct bank among many other things. QE also completed all landscaping, irrigation, and line stripping. The job site was located between two new developments and near local schools; thus, requiring close coordination with the surrounding community and active maintenance of traffic.
