Tiger Grant Immokalee Area Improvements

Project Overview
Location: Immokalee, Florida
Client: Collier County
Completion Date: 2025
This large-scale street improvement project encompassed the design, permitting, and construction of 20 miles of concrete sidewalks, 1 mile of multi-use path, 20 miles of drainage swales, and 32 intersection and signalization upgrades. This design-build project was funded through a grant secured by Collier County and Quality Enterprises completed over 90% of the total work. The scope also included the construction of a bus transfer station and installation of new street lighting infrastructure.
This initiative represented a major safety enhancement for the area—shifting pedestrians and schoolchildren off the roadway and onto designated sidewalks. It improved connectivity, walkability, and overall livability of the neighborhood. The majority of the sidewalks were slip-formed by QE using a Gomaco slipform concrete pave to ensure efficiency and consistency. This machine is designed to form and place concrete continuously, without the need for fixed side forms, making them ideal for large-scale concrete paving jobs. In addition to improved public safety, the project added long-term value to surrounding residential properties.
