Throughout our history, Quality Enterprises has experienced several periods of significant growth — we’ve expanded our business into new geographic regions as well as adding new services and capabilities. Whenever a business has major expansions like that, it can be far too easy to lose sight of the company culture that made them a great contractor in the first place.
That’s why Quality Enterprises has always prioritized maintaining our culture, as it pertains to both our employees and our clients. When it comes to our own team members, Quality strives for an atmosphere of inclusivity and respect. We welcome the opinions and input of every employee who works here. It doesn’t matter if you’re part of our management team or a laborer in the field — your voice matters!
Everyone here knows what it means to work as a true team, and if you don’t, you probably don’t belong at QE. We help each other out when someone needs a hand, and we’re never too proud to ask for assistance either. We’re all in this together, and if you’re not willing to get your hands dirty to help out a fellow Quality employee, you won’t be a good fit in our culture.
How do we maintain our family culture? We do our best to hire a good mix of young, ambitious people and seasoned veterans in our industry. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with the right combination of experienced people who are willing to pass on their knowledge and open minds to soak up that information.
Of course, there are times when disagreements may arise. After all, we all take our careers seriously, and we can have some strong opinions regarding the best way to perform our work. However, we recognize the difference between an argument and a productive debate, and we strive to make sure everyone’s voice is heard before we make any final decisions.
Along these same lines, we view communication with our clients as a two-way street. We think of our clients more as partners in our business than customers who simply purchase our services. When we have crystal-clear communication with our clients, we can get an idea for exactly what they want, rather than making educated guesses.
This also means having a tremendous amount of respect for the communities we help build. The reason we do what we do is to help provide a better infrastructure for our society. We’re constantly analyzing how to perform our work without disrupting the daily lives of the people who live and work near our job sites, and we’re always looking for better ways to minimize these disturbances.
Too many large companies lose sight of what made them successful in the first place but at Quality Enterprises, we never forget our humble roots. In fact, you can see evidence of these roots every day, on every QE project. From our dedication to having sparkling clean equipment on every job site to our commitment to self-performing every aspect of a project, we take tremendous pride in everything we do, but we balance that pride with plenty of humility.
